Voting and evaluation

Candidates whose profiles have been validated will have a public profile for community voting and will also be evaluated by a panel of experts.

Announcement of the winners by country

The 50 women who receive the most votes and highest scores in the evaluations by the panel of experts will be included in their country's SW50 2025 cohort, among a total of 550 winners.

The London School of Economics will evaluate the 550 winners from each country. They will then select the 50 women who will participate in the face-to-face program in London.

We resolve your doubts

Candidates must be residents in one of the countries participating in the programme (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and Uruguay). You must have at least 10 years of professional experience, be in a senior management position and have applied through the Santander Open Academy. It is not necessary to be a client of Banco Santander.

 

While it is not necessary to have an advanced level of English (C1 or higher) for your country's edition, if you want to advance and have a chance to be part of the global edition, you will need to have.

To apply, register for the Santander Open Academy between 4 November 2024 and 7 January 2025, apply to the call for your country, including a short biography and your motivation as a leader.

From 16 January 2025, you will be able to share your candidacy on social media and ask for votes from your community. 

The 50 women with the highest number of votes and best evaluations will be the SW50 winners in each of the countries.

The 50 winners from each country will receive an exclusive online course on women's leadership developed by the London School of Economics (LSE) with a certificate of completion through the Santander Open Academy

No, to participate in Santander W50 you must currently hold a senior management or C-suite position in your company.

Voting is only one part of the selection process. A panel of experts will also evaluate your career path, motivation and impact. 

Yes, anyone who wants to vote for your candidacy must be registered with Santander Open Academy. With this, we want to ensure that the process is secure and rigorous.

SW50 now offers you the chance to be recognised as one of the top 50 leaders in your country. Only the winners from each country will have the opportunity to win one of the 50 places on the global programme. Only the 550 winners from the participating countries will be evaluated by the London School of Economics.

You do not need to be a current or prospective customer to participate in the programme.
